I love to help people improve their current quality of life by diving into the past to settle any unfinished business. I have been in your shoes as a person seeking mental health services and can empathize with how difficult that can be. I am equipped to create a safe and comfortable environment for people of all different backgrounds and orientations. I have experience working in corrections and outpatient therapy and have worked with teenagers, adolescents, and older adults. My goal for all my clients is to help them expand their “toolbelts” to be better able to cope with all of life’s stressors. Using Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioral counseling models, I aim to empower my clients to direct their own therapy sessions. In our sessions, we will work collaboratively together to find solutions to the problems that prevent you from reaching your best potential.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the therapy experience. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space for all of my clients. My experience includes working with Individuals with disabilities and their families, Individuals in recovery, formerly incarcerated individuals, and seniors. Having such a diverse background of experience has helped me evolve as a therapist. I bring a unique perspective to the company as their first social worker on staff. I like to use a Holistic Approach and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Together, we will explore life’s twists and turns toward growth and change.

Counseling is meant to be a safe space for processing, growth, and healing. As your counselor, my goal is to help you create opportunities for exploration and skill-building. My approach to counseling is grounded in a feminist and relational framework to create a meaningful and empowering space for you to heal and process your relationships. I am passionate about working with teenagers and adults through trauma. My counseling space is one that is safe and accepting of all gender, sexual, and racial minorities. My hope through our work together is that you find a space to cultivate a more positive and true relationship to yourself and others.
