Discover Your Path to Mental Health

At Compassionate Counseling, we offer versatile services to address the needs of individuals across the lifespan

from childhood to late adulthood. We strive to be culturally competent to meet the unique needs

of individuals in diverse communities.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individual counseling is provided to clients as young as 5 years old through late adulthood.

Family Counseling

Family therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can help you and your family members improve your relationship.  This service can include partners, spouses, children, or other relatives. Family therapy can help increase understanding, respect, and goal alignment between you and your family members, which can help you be happier together.

In-Person Counseling

In-person counseling is the traditional approach, in which you go to your counselor's office and attend your session there, face to face. There are perks of in-person counseling, including the utilization of nonverbal communication and hands-on techniques.

Telehealth Counseling

Telehealth lets your provider care for you without an in-person office visit. Telehealth is done primarily online with internet access on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Telehealthcare includes talking to your provider live over the phone or video chat and sending and receiving messages from your health care provider using secure messaging, email, and secure file exchange.

Mobile Therapy

A mobile therapist provides psychological support and counseling in a client's home, school, or another community setting outside of an office setting.

Career Counseling

Career counseling is a service that helps people begin, change, or advance their careers. It can include one-on-one conversations between a counselor and a career seeker, as well as assessments, activities, and projects designed to help career seekers make the most of their strengths.

LQBTIA+ Services

Provides support and treatment around related or unrelated mental health struggles, operating from a helpful perspective of how gender identity intersects with your other identities and experiences.

Trauma Informed Services

Trauma-informed therapy considers the complex impact of trauma on an individual's well-being and how it shapes a person's ability to cope. Unlike traditional therapy, trauma-informed treatment integrates an awareness of trauma into every aspect of treatment while making safety a priority for clients.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a professional relationship between an individual entering a field of work and a supervisor. This process allows the individual to begin working with patients after completing their education while the supervisor ensures that they are taking care of patients properly and following all ethical guidelines. Clinical supervision builds trust between the supervisor and the supervisee, allowing for a collaborative relationship in which the patient's care is jointly monitored. It is important for clinicians to go through the clinical supervision process to stay up to date on current treatment options, enhance growth, increase their skills, and adhere to ethical standards.
